Your being a jerk dude. Further I know a few hired because of their connections such as spouses and fathers. Others hired due to professional aviation organizations with strong recruitment ties, think the major places of job fairs. Just like I know great candidates at regionals who are captains with clean records, some check airmen, who don't have tons of connections and are getting no bites.
