Klondike - how long have you flown the Legacy/H model? That will give you an idea of how easy or hard it will be - if you are new it will be a challenge and if you are OLD it may be also.
I went to J model school (albeit in 03 with Lockheed in Marietta) as a Maj and IP - having flown Es/Hs for 12 years and it was easy - but that was LM. I went to TAC SCHOOL in 07 as a J IP and Lt Col and it was relatively simple, with a few challenges as I had NEVER EVER flown SKE. See avatar on the left for an idea why (plus MCs are vis form)
There are enough similarities and differences to give you fits.
It's no easier or harder than any other C-130 course. Bring your clubs and an OPEN mind because "well we did it this way in the H..." no longer applies. Have fun.
