All other things being equal, they'd probably take the jet pilot. But you're goal should make things unequal. go there with the idea that you want to get your PIC time quicker, become a check airmen quicker, get the opportunity to get positions that in the company that would normally take half a decade to get at others. In 3 or 4 years, you may look more attractive than a 3 or 4 year regional FO. There is no shortage of prop guys that have gone to the majors. I met a captain at FedEx who flew the Dash for Piedmont prior to going to FedEx.
