I think you're exactly correct. It would also be "fair" that until the senior pilots are allowed to displace into IAD that they continue to draw their monthly minimum guarantee.
When AS got rid of the MD-80, there were guys who sat idle for MONTHS waiting for a 737 class date. The all got their monthly minimum guarantee along with all their other benefits (i.e. medical, etc.).
