Alrighty, I hate to bring this up, but it's kind of been bothering me...
Has anybody noticed XJT guys come across...well...patronizing?? Maybe that isn't the correct word, but the ones I've come across were far from humble.
Maybe it's the product of their damaged-ego's and consequential branded-flying LoL.
And really here, these aren't fightin'-words! But for all you XJT'ers out there, we're all human, though we may not be worthy of the "Express" title ;-)
If you really must know what it is, its pride. We are treated well here and most really like it. Its not you avg. regional as far as enjoyment in the job goes. Ask any person whom has come from another regional if thats true. I think its an awesome thing. People should be proud of where they work, unfortunately most regionals treat their employees like crap. The branded flying did even more a sense of pride. Its the "Southwest" way of running an airline. Treat your employees well and performance and efficiency goes up. I think you might have mistaken our "attitudes" as patronization but its pride for the most part. Sorry if it comes across differently. We have a fantastic pilot group here and run a great operation.
