Two years.....why in the hell is that allowed to happen? The way this government treats its current and former uniformed members borders on criminal.
Congress needs to grow a pair and put a stop to this. Our local VA in AZ had a secret list it would put people on. They are attributing that list to causing 40 deaths. Our two local buffoons, Flake and McCain, are "out raged" and want answers. They could give two craps about what is happening there..they want press for thinking they care.

I am still on active duty and I recently received the VA benefits briefing. Nothing is automatic. I’ve also heard many thing as automatic 50% like surgery or sleep apnea with a CPAP machine. You’ll still have to go through the process. If you’re still on AD, get the process started after ASAP. If you’re already out get yourself a VA disability advocate through the VFW or American Legion, or Rep for Vets (don’t need a lawyer unless you’ve been denied). Start the process ASAP.
