Congress needs to grow a pair and put a stop to this. Our local VA in AZ had a secret list it would put people on. They are attributing that list to causing 40 deaths. Our two local buffoons, Flake and McCain, are "out raged" and want answers. They could give two craps about what is happening there..they want press for thinking they care.

I got my rating all resolved in a matter of a few months, with back pay for the period since my last AD stint.
As far as health care for veterans...
There's not enough money to pay for it all. Your priority (based on service history and disability rating) determines whether or not the VA is really going to be an option for you.
Does the VA have problems? Of course...they're a lazy, inefficient federal bureaucracy just like all the others. You'll never fix that, but if the people and Congress want more health care for more vets they'll have to allocate the money.
I'll give MacCain the benefit of the doubt, he's proven that he has some character.
