I was thinking the same thing. I'd think you'd be limited to G1000 a/c until you got some steam experience.
Are they equipped with an auto-pilot?
It took me a while to develop the "scan" while hand flying and "pulling on the ADF's tail" and learning to speak IFR to ATC.
