Angry Be Careful with Executive Air Share

Morning Everyone,

I've been reluctant to write this post regarding Executive Air Share, but here it goes.

I interviewed with EAS at their headquarters in Kansas City the last week of March. However, I was not offered a FO position with the company and found out by letter I a week later. No phone call, no email, and no personal touch. Also, coincidentally the letter was dated the same day as my interview.

Needless to say, I wanted to find out why I had been dismissed so quickly so I could use the information to better myself for other interviews down the road. Therefore, I wrote Ben Petersen one of the many Assistant Chief Pilots and the gentleman who granted me an interview with EAS in the first place an email inquiring as to why I had been dismissed from the interview process so hastily. No response. Less than a week later I wrote Ben Petersen another email asking why I had been dismissed from the interview and also asking when I could expect my reimbursement check for travel expenses to and from the interview.

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND... I WAS TOLD BEFORE I TRAVELED TO KANSAS CITY THAT EXECUTIVE AIR SHARE WOULD COMMIT TO A $500 TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT.

Again no response. Therefore, I contacted Cathy Caballero who also conducted part of the interview, and who is also the Head of Human Resources asking when I could expect my $500 travel expenditure check. She responded in an email saying I could expect reimbursement in 2-3 weeks from my interview date. I'm thinking great... Finally someone from the company who has the decency to write me an email that took 2 seconds to write.

It's now been almost 6 weeks since my interview and still

NO $500 CHECK FOR TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT

I have subsequently written emails to the following pilots and HR representative. All of whom were in the interview process in Kansas City: Ben Petersen - Assistant Chief, Alex Franz - Chief Pilot, Daniel Ireson - Assistant Chief, and Cathy Caballero - Director of Human Resources. Today is the 10th of May and every single one of them is still ignoring my repeated attempts at repayment.

Honestly I don't care that I wasn't hired by EAS, who would after this fiasco, but I'm thoroughly disgusted at their lack of professionalism and blatant lies. Plus, who doesn't want their $500 back as first promised?
