It took a while for me to get the reimbursement check. Turns out the mailing address was incorrect. And I didn't receive it until I showed up for training.
I don't know any company that would tell you why you were not selected, that seems to be fairly standard at all companies and in all industries. That being said they are extremely selective about who they hire. I have heard they will interview for weeks to fill just one spot until they find the "right" person for the job. Keep in mind that you are probably competing with several others for the same position.
Sorry it didn't work out for you but this seems to be an isolated incident and is certainly not the norm.
