Flying for DHL in the U.S. means flying for Astar or ABX. ABX hasn't hired anyone for about 5 years and the Chief Pilot says this week that there is no hiring planned at present. We still have 5 pilots on furlough that have not had a chance at recall. We do have a handful of airplanes arriving this year, hopefully they will be additional flying, not replacements. When there is hiring the best bet at ABX is have one of the pilots walk in a resume. Minimums are on the company website:

ABX still has PFEs (Professional Flight Engineer) on the seniortiy list but hasn't hired anyone as PFE for a few years. The last pilots hired started as DC8 SOs (Second Officer, IE: Flight Engineer).
