I know I've said this before, but reading that many are not taking the job (or even the interview) makes me positively giddy with excitement. The only type of pilot I could even fathom wanting to come here would be a single 25 year old with a tote and futon as possessions and a month-to-month lease on an apartment (living with Mom and Dad is a plus). That's a pretty brutal post? Why would anyone want/need to log MD80 time?... unless you're coming from a canyon/twin otter and can now fly a "jet." With exception of the TWA/AA guys on property, the pilots being hired now, with airline experience, will help unify the group for a real contract. I don't want to make this a bashing thread but you're way offline with those joining the ranks. With that, let's make this a better airline for US and those starting class on the 19th.. Cheers!
