Errrm....Its called an on time bonus and profit sharing. Those little $65 or $100 checks every quarter and that couple grand at the end of the year are kinda nice. But I guess we can't all be that lucky. Again, thats the XJT vs. Misc. Crappy Regional mindset. Profit sharing and a little pride your company and what you do can go a long way towards finding ways to do things more efficiently. But if you hate your company, do what ever you need to do to sleep better at night (fly slow, waste gas, write up every little thing, etc).

Shoot...with no ACARS I could turn a plane in 1 minute. Regardless of size. Its easy when you can pull an out time from your arse. As far as the W&B thing, the rumor is that CHQ's W&B program isn't as precise as XJT's and therefore they have to be more generous in their averages and estimates. Thats why we can fly an ERJ-LR IAH-STL with 50 people and their bags but CHQ flies the same airplane on the same route and is weight restricted to 44.
