I'd recommend University of Oklahoma. I'm a grad, so I'm biased, but we're a big school (which means sports like Football and lots of other students outside aviation). Trust me, you'll want to meet other students someday. Also we have a solid study abroad program, so you can do a summer or a semester in another country and see the world really cheaply.
Aviation program is pretty solid throughout. Good fleet, good people. Definitely on the cheaper side when compared to some of the big schools for aviation, but it has all the AABI and other accreditation. Similar to Kansas State and OSU.
