What's next is that Piedmont agrees to fly American Eagle E-175s for a contract worse even than PSA's. Thus all the NO votes from Eagle and others will have been for nothing. Oh sure, they will tell you all day how it's ok because Piedmont is getting raises.

The NO voters can't have their cake and eat it to. They voted NO to-supposedly-set a bar for the industry and stop the race to the bottom. If PDT demanded to be paid at least what Eagle is currently paid to fly the E-175 then that would be something. But agreeing to a contract that is lower even than PSA's is a race to the bottom...even if it is raise for their individual pilot group. So what? They used to be below bottom feeder status and are now inching closer to level with PSA? Are we supposed to cheer that on? They couldn't have demanded Eagle rates as a minimum????

Make no mistake: If Piedmont goes through with this contract that is worse than even PSA's it will be used to whipsaw EVERYBODY in due time...including Eagle(Envoy).
