I've seen a lot fewer of things like JFK-ORD and more things like HPN-PBI. Sure, it's kinda long, but HPN has that pesky seat restriction thing, which would make turning it into all 320s counter productive. Mainly I see a LOT of SJU, which is good for the 190 unless you're doing long haul from JFK or BOS. Even then, you have to balance the cost of actually flying the plane vs the loss of revenue for not having the flight. If it means we capture more revenue, I don't see a problem with running a more expensive to operate plane on the route temporarily. Toss a 321 on there when we get more of them. To either have a 190 sitting around or to add another MCO-ORH just because it's less than 800 miles vs using it on a leg that will generate more revenue but is more than 800 miles is kinda silly.
We are recieving one per month through the year starting in July, 12 next year and 15 per year after that. One of my class mates was just in Hamburg at the Bus factory 3 321's with Mint tails on the production line. The bottle neck is with Live TV install in Everett Field. Yes there is 1 321 sitting in MCO at the old Live TV hanger but that will be done soon.
It is looking like 320 Captain bid should go mid 1900's senority range. Lot's of growth here unless they can find a sucker to buy some old 190's. Looking like another 300 for next year on the hiring front as well. Good luck to those applying, this is a good place to be.
