After reading the forums it also appears the airbus is the best choice for a commuter because more days blocked together when assigned a trip. Are my conclusions correct? Please post or PM if you have other suggestions.
Depending where you fall in the class and aircraft availability, you may not have a choice on your selection. 190 is the most junior aircraft and most likely the quickest to being a line holder. Due to training being backed up, recent classes have mostly filled the 320. However, people are most likely to keep bidding off the 190 keeping the junior guys junior on the 320 which means longer reserve. I wouldn't worry to much about commutable trips, it's not going to happen anytime soon for you.
