That announcement date is not necessarily the date that will be used for seniority integration. It will most likely be the POR date, since that was the date of the official merger. The merger was not certain until that date, especially due to the DOJ suit.
Ok then how about the number of newhires since the announcement date and the number of newhires sinces the POR date.
