You know nothing has changed since the last time DHL was forced to deal with Joe Hete back in 2008. Joe still owns the planes and DHL only owns 4 of them.
Joe is not about to take a pay cut over ABX. The price for the other 13 will be at a premium in order to make up the loss. Why? Because he's paying for them at 30 million a pop or close to 400 million and 2 years lead time to make it happen. Who else will do that? DHL? Not their style. It is still cheaper to sign with ATSG unless you want to start making freighters or pay a premium. No matter how much pilots get paid.
