Exactly. Deferring required maintenance and then returning or selling the aircraft's is simply not done, or if it is, it is negotiated in the contract. It does not save money to defer maintenance.
In the case of the 75's we are selling to FDX, maybe running them out is OK as they have to undergo freighter conversion.
