Every pilot that has lost money because he was locked out of the BAT bids should file a grievance and everybody else should lobby their LEC officers to fix this abrogation of seniority.

Limit Captain bids to only FOs within the fleet? that's crazy talk. That's not what BAT does. BAT is about 756/76T laterals WITHIN fleet, SEAT, and base. There is no net gain. It is a win/win for ALPA and the company, which is why ALPA agreed to it. Why should a 76T guy suffer though 80% relative seniority month to month when he could have 15% on what is essentially the same fleet within his base? NO BAT would abrogate seniority. BAT is innovative and fair. I get it, and no, I have not used it.
