You must be on the 76T and feel that your BAT status will protect your relative seniority for a couple years until the SL gets aligned with desires. As far as ALL BAT Captains being Captains, the same could be said for the 737 and 320 Captains.

Let's take the 320 EWR Captain. He's been locked out of the 756 and 76T for over 3 years. He'd like to bid the 756 because it includes the 767-400 that pays the same as the 747/777/787 but can't because ALPA and the company decided his seniority doesn't count. If they can take seniority away from one they can/will take it away from others. I didn't say they were upgrading out of seniority YET - give them time and the right arbitrator see what happens. BAT violates seniority and when you do it once why not do it all the time?

It would be interesting to see what we(ALPA) got from the company for BAT. Was it one of those PW back-room deals? And you can't assume that the people on the 737 and 320 are junior to the 76T or 756 because many on both airplanes can hold 747/777/787 but hey, you got yours. Carry on..........
