PHX FOs ... Yes seems like they have been holding out for EMJ IAH... PHX to IAH is easier than say PHX to CLT, or IAD commute.

CLT, IAD FOs that are commuting from the Texas area are as well taking/holding out for IAH EMJ.

CLT, ORD, IAD guys that live east of say the Mississippi are all taking CRJ upgrade as it comes.

As the west coast CRJ operation expands I think you will begin to see the EMJ start going junior as IAH is the only definite base (ORD is not announced yet, but strong rumors.)

Lots of west coast FOs thought the best case commute would be IAH but now PHX is expanding and more junior Captains (2013 upgrades) can hold PHX. So as they see that those guys may change their bids to CRJ CA from EMJ CA.

Most guys (FOs) have only flown the CRJ and don't really have any SJS for the E175, since it pays the same. They just want to upgrade to the equipment that is the easiest commute.

Personally I can hold CRJ CA now but I'm holding out for EMJ CA as I have time and type from RAH and it'll be fun to go back to my old jet. That and I am ready for a change from IAD.

Throw in 20+ new CRJ700's for DFW and who knows what will happen.

Lots of upgrades, lots of hiring I think for the next 3+ years.
