We know there have been a number of rumors out there about where Mesa will be flying for American Airlines as they consolidate their operations with U.S. Airways. What we can confirm is we are in discussions with American to relocate our Charlotte operations to DFW over the next 12 months and to set up a small operation in LAX (8-10 aircraft) by October.

American is pleased with our performance and their decision to move our Charlotte operations to Dallas is to focus our flying in the Western U.S. (DFW, PHX and LAX.) This is a positive move for our company and for our partnership with American (to serve their largest hub and headquarters city) but we know it will mean change for many of our people.
