There is a shortage of pharmacists; my good friend from college is married to one. She got a 20k signing bonus for a one year contract with 110,000k starting pay and she hadent taken her final tests. Until I see something like that in aviation I call bs. You can talk until your blue in the face but I won’t listen.

The airlines have overcapacity right now, (to many seats to fill). The regional illusion of a shortage is for outsourced jobs. In the big scheme of things our industry is due for consolidation i.e. mergers. The regional’s are just trying to fill planes that are used to outsource major flying.
