First off, this is a horrible analogy. You are trying to compare a student pilot who is brand new to flying with a professional aviator. Nobody in a 121 training department should have to hold anyone's hand to make it through training. At this point in your career you should know how to act as a professional and know what is expected of you.

Secondly your view of reality is not the way the rest of the world works. I hate to break it to you, and I don't even know if you are a current regional pilot or not, but seriously man up and drop the entitlement attitude. Nobody has a "right" to be in this industry.
