Hmmmmmm.....United has always been my first choice. Any one have any idea about how much flexibility I have if I pass the Hogan and get a call to interview? I can't really afford to burn my bridges with the carrier I'm training with....but because of that I can't get free to interview for a while?
Suggestions? Any one have this happen.....
Congratulations!
If you haven't taken the Hogan yet, it will probably be about a month or so before your interview. Will you still be in training then?
Feel it out when they call to schedule the interview. Ask them if they have availability around the time you will be done with training. I would be surprised if they're not willing to push it back a few weeks. If not, take what they can schedule you for. You may just have to come down with the stomach flu for a couple days of ground school. I know it's an uncomfortable position to be in, but you owe it to yourself to go for "Plan A" if you get the shot.
By the way, when did you get the initial call? I haven't heard of any going out in the past little while.
