2006: Boeing sold the most planes ever.
2006: Dassault sold the most planes ever.
2006: Bombardier sold the most planes ever.
2006: Embraer sold the most planes ever.
2006: Cessna sold the most jets ever.
2006: Beechcraft sold the most jets ever.
2006: Gulfstream sold the most jets ever.
2006: Airbus either had their best year, or was close.
Virtually EVERY jet manufacturer had their best year, and I believe that 2005 was their 2nd best year.

This does NOT take into account the VLJ boom.

Jet Blue, Southwest, Delta, Net Jets, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, the Japanese carriers, ALL the Indian and Chinese carriers:
They're all experiencing less than optimal recruiting situations. Now. Today.

With UAL and NWA to hire soon, with UPS, USAir, FedEx, and AA behind them, what is going to happen when EVERYONE is hiring, and all these new jets are coming on line???

Who is going to fly all these new planes? We can't even fly the ones we have now.
