I was jumpseating to work last week and a Gojet guy who went there seeking a fast upgrade from another carrier was whining to a United guy about how they are treated at Gojet, the intimidation tactics and how awful it is to work there. And how they lied to him about the fast upgrade. Serves him right.
Anyone who goes there gets what they deserve. Right now I'm making more money and made $3000 more last winter than I would have at Gojet due to cancellation pay. Anybody that goes to Gojet right now is financially illiterate.
My point was that a guy who left eagle a few years ago would now be a captain at Gojet, whereas had he stayed at eagle he'd still be an FO. Who's financially illiterate?
