Holy smokes really? You have no idea how many times that airline got whipsawed? Of course we applaud them now. You made my point. The last thing I'm doing is bashing them.

My next point is Mesa and their whipsaw that got pulled back. What's your opinion of them? Sure, it's conjecture at this point but Mesa got their airplanes back and they still suck.

(To the other poster) What don't I get? I believe the question is why do you refuse to "get" that throughout history people went were they thought best. Everyone has been "educating" till they're blue in the face and what progress has that theory made? Ever? Any progress what-so-ever?

Like I said, I agree with the thoughts in theory but when one looks at the results thus far there have been none. So I ask you, what don't YOU get? Why do you disagree with having one regional group to represent everyone? Sure it'd be hard to get going! You guys have been happily getting fleeced forever and you still don't question it? ...and I'm the dumb one here huh?

 

You really like to twist things around... I never said that I disagree with having one regional group to represent everyone! I do believe that the odds of that happening are very slim, and management would fight that tooth and nail. Whereas, if pilots would stop signing on with the bottom feeders(and cheerleaders there would stop encouraging them), JO, Hulas and other regional CEO's would have no choice but to increase pay and benefits to crew their aircraft! It's basic economics, capitalism 101. Get it now???

 

The new Chief Pilot didn't last very long over there.
With the old Chief pilot back on the line every FO that is assigned to fly with him should call in sick.

 

I am amazed at what I read on this thread. I too am a GoJet pilot and have had no problems jumpseating and have never been disrespected. If you believe everything you read on the internet, I'm a French Model! Bonjour.
