Agreed they didn't take any of that stuff, but every week there are new interviewers, so you can't be sure the folks conducting interviews will do the same as the previous weeks. It seems to me it'd be better to have that stuff and not need it than the other way around. It's so easy to get it ahead of time.
If you're gonna spend hours working on the best way to show your flight hours (logbooks, Excel spreadsheets, etc), then why not take the 5 min required to print this stuff off or photocopy it? Sometimes just volunteering that you have it if they'd like to see it gives enough of a "warm fuzzy" to the interviewer that they don't bother to look at it.
Again, I agree they didn't ask for it ahead of time, and they didn't need to see mine during the interview, but I think it sends a message to at least be prepared. Average pilots like me need whatever advantage we can get.
