I would disclose every single thing that has ever happened no matter how long ago it was and no matter how minor you thought the issue might be.
A friend of mine once disclosed that he got caught having a beer by a hotel pool when he was 19. The interviewers chuckled and he got offered a job.
Another friend of mine did not disclose something that happened 24 years ago and was pulled out of class and let go.
A background check may only state that it's going back 10 years but who knows how far it can really go back or what might show up.. Also, when at a job interview, the interviewer usually asks about prior issues, not what is going to show up on a background check. Those are two different things and I would hate to screw up a potential job by not being forthcoming.
