Only the iPad can be used. If you go through training with the iPad you'll never see a Jepp. Otherwise, you'll have to make the transition after training on the line. There are two approved mounts that can be used.
Actually they added ipad ownership as a stipulation of employment. All new hires must show up with an ipad.
