I used to agree with this thought process.
Then, the more I thought about it, I had to ask myself: How do I value my time?
Are you paid extra hours on top of your monthly guarantee to do jepp revisions at other airlines? We sure weren't at RAH.
Let's say an average month consist of 5 hours of jepp revisions. I'll just throw the number out there that I value my spare time at: $15/hour.
At 5 hours a month that is $75 worth of my time.
How long until a $300 iPad pays for itself in time saved to do other things that I rather do with my spare time?
