Yes you're right...pilots should strive for companies like United, Delta, And American. SKW and XJT are NOT good paying airline gigs.
None of the regionals are. We're just trying to make the best out of a crappy situation created decades ago when the regionals were born.
It's like going to prom with the ugly fat chick, and no amount of koolaid is going to make her pretty. So it's best to get it over with as quickly as possible and hope you have better luck tomorrow with something better.
