Seriously dude, this debate keeps going round and round with the same results. Folks keep repeating the same old dribble like some sort of depressing country music song, and yes it used to be a horrible place to work but times have changed. I jumpseat on SKW and encounter quite a few ex Mesa guys and the pre bankruptcy days sounded terrible, and I would've bailed too after getting furloughed and treated like feces. But those days are gone hoss, and people need to get the eff over it.
It's really not as bad as the internet wants you to believe. Myself and several other new guys are making it work with a transcon commute to reserve while we ride the seniority train out west. The new guys are holding lines in IAD a month out of training. The sun still comes up every morning and we keep clicking along.
