The Jepp app takes up about 1.3GB. Company manuals are about 50MB.
And you'll need to show proof that you own or have ordered the correct mount and cradle (Delkin Fat Gecko, either dual or single suction cup) before he'll send you the JeppFD subscription link. Best price for the mount that my class was able to find was from B&H Photo in New York. Better deal than the Mesa "discount" offered by Marv Golden, plus free shipping.

I've harped on this before, but after I'm done with IOE, I really want to work with the company to get a mount approved that will accommodate a protective case, like the ones from RAM Mount that the military and most mainline carriers are using. Lifeproof also makes a very good protective case and cradle combo that that will mate with the RAM dual suction cup mount. Both are better options than the Delkin cradle, which will not accommodate any sort of protective case.

There's a reason everyone in this biz uses OtterBox cases on their phones, and I'd much rather pay an extra $50 for a more protective mount setup than risk damaging my $700 iPad.
