Flying in Alaska is the most fun you'll ever have in an airplane. That said you'll be wet, dirty, tired, sore and run ragged even if you never make a gravel landing.
You forgot the part about flying up Lynn Canal at "500 & 2" while maintaining gliding distance to the vertical walls of a glacier fjord.
