Alaska's agreement with Air NZ is actually suspended right now for some reason but expected to be coming back soon. I sent an inquiry to our travel office, waiting for an answer. I'll just be going to the North Island this trip, going to try to enter a couple Jetsprint races end of January, early February.
Go with Atlas... Freighters are the only way I travel long haul unless you can pretty much guarantee a biz or first seat.
