Actually the math is right. You choose to agree to a TA with a 24$ an hour first year pay. Whether the rate increases faster for the jet, over 4 years, or not ; doesn't make a difference. At the end of the day, over a 4 year period, flying the jet instead of the dash, as an FO, will earn a new hire a mere 4680$ before taxes.

1.3$ ( overall 4 years average difference ) X 75 ( minimum guarantee ) x 12 ( months a year ) X 4 ( number of years ) = 4680$
