The simple fact us that Envoy thought they could go toe to toe with Parker. They found out otherwise. Once they turned down the deal for the 900s, the deal wasn't coming back. The 700s are beyond PSAs control. If you want to point fingers point them at Parker. It's not up to PSA to cut off their nose to spite their face.
We were offered A deal that we were very unlikely to take. That way it could then be taken to PSA, already a CRJ operator and sold over there. The whisper at the time was being sold to you was that the 700s later were coming with the deal. That way PSA would be an all CRJ operator and envoy would be all embraer. You all understood you were taking the concessionary deal simply to take airplanes from envoy. Your leadership understood that it also probably meant our 700s. And that rumor was well spread when you guys voted. You guys did what you did. Don't try to rewrite history.
