It doesn't matter why you don't actually want to bid the base. The point is that working as a bidding mafia currently limits you to mining your own base's flying, but OOBS leave it wide open to mine other bases' flying. OOBWS isn't quite good enough for those people, because it limits them to the WS pick-up limit.
Now they want to get down with OPF.
