There are many Regional FOs that have been in the right seat for 10 years or better with no opportunity to upgrade and get the hell out. The "dark decade" has many consequences for all. I had no opportunity to upgrade in 10 years and had to take a huge QOL hit to move to an airline where upgrading was a possibility. I was flying with a lot of captains that I had at least 2500 more 121 time than they had total time.
