The -200 flying Skw does out of PHX is at a loss for them. The reason they are doing it is because it is less of a loss versus having those aircraft parked awaiting their lease expiration. The leases on those aircraft expire at the end of this year. I also understand the -900 flying has some tie to that.
I noticed that starting next month we're getting at least one of our old routes back (KMRY). It's been exclusively SKW on the US/AA side for the past six months or so since I've been paying attention to it.
