Actually, no not really. Money has always been a poor motivator when you're talking big picture stuff.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anticipating that 2016 raise, but I worked just as hard and cared just as much for the operation when I was a commuter F/O. I'd bet a lot of us could say that.

If a more than 50% can say that, then stand by for a pay cut, cause if the SAME job can get done at the SAME level for half the pay, then really what right does mgmt have agreeing to spend the extra 50% on your services.
If you work just as hard and care just as much for 1/2 the pay, why give you any raise at all?
Many things motivate employees, but $$$$$ has got to be 2 out of the top three.
