While their brother and sisters on the west are 100 pilots from the bottom of their list, flying weekends and holidays. They are around 80% on the east list and about 97% on the west list. If we merge the 3 lists on a percentage basis how can they go in front of the west pilots who were initially senior to them? any help with that question? Thanks
While I'm not sure how the merger committees are addressing this, my guess is the pilots will have to make a decision as which list they want to be considered to be a part of. For those West pilots choosing to stay on the East list, it's quite possible they could move ahead of the pilots they were below on the West list. We saw similar movements from furloughed East pilots that were hired by the West. Then when the Nic came out, they shot way up the list above where they were and above many pilots that were once considerably senior to them. If the Nic had been implemented, those positions would have been solidified... It will be different for this SLI, as we will have a JCBA before a SLI, and those positions will become permanent immediately.

They may also take away the AWA DOH and place them at the day they came on the East property. That would move them down the list, but could still be at a higher percentage than they would be if they went back to the West... Just my opinions... But we will probably find out in the not too distant future...
