Here's the bid from the PDF. I will try and straighten out the lines. On it there were 2701 active line positions on September 2005. On our last bid there were 2989 for November 2014, of which 216 are on the E190.

SPECIAL NOTES FOR BID 05-03
 A pilot who is more than SIX ( 6 ) months of their Sixtieth (60th) birth date and who is awarded
a new position will be trained to that new position.
PRE-RETIREMENT TRAINING BYPASS
 No pilot will be trained if he is awarded a vacancy and is within SIX ( 6 ) months of his 60th birthday.
 A displaced pilot may be trained to his displacement bid if the pilot is within SIX ( 6 ) months of his 60th birthday.
Permanent Bid Indicators:
 A ‘++’ sign on the permanent bid award next to the pilot last name indicates that pilot is within 24 months
of retirement.
 A ‘N’ left of the relative number in a roster indicates a new pilot or a vacancy bidder.
 A ‘DN’ left of the relative number in a roster indicates a displaced pilot in that roster.
BIDDING INFORMATION
 When bidding, please bid realistically and enter enough bids to insure a position for yourself
in this bid.
 If you use CATCREW, you must enter your pin number after you have completed your bid updates.
 At the conclusion of the 05-03 bid award process, printed results will be in all domiciles and Voice Response

So 4 days before the merger we had 2782 active line positions, dropping to 2701 by September. By November 2014 we will have 2989.

So we have around 8% more active line pilots than we did on the day the merger was announced, not 20% like cacti claims, and about the same number are on the low paying E190, which we didn't have then.
