One we do need a national seniority list. That would prevent startups like Gojets, Freedom Airlines, etc., to whipsaw and get cheap labor by putting senior higher paying pilots out of a job.
Second, until the railroad labor act goes away, we are at the mercy of the airlines. If we can't strike, when we need too, what is the point? We are being forced to be a "damn chairty"...
I agree with his post 100 percent, I just think you missed what he was saying...
My understanding of the RLA is that without it, pilots wouldn't even have to participate in the union, pay agency fees, etc. in Right to Work states. Is that correct? Makes me wonder if getting rid of it would be such a good idea.
