I am hearing rumors CLT might remain open. Some senior Captains were told not to sell their houses. Told PSA might not be able to staff their 900s. Mesa still hasn't ran a displacement/award for CLT to DFW. What are you hearing? Any body have anymore juicy rumors?
PSA has already hired enough pilots to staff the 900s with almost 900 pilots on the list now for 79 aircraft (does not include the 47 700s arriving next summer). We have been filling classes with 30-40 people in each class every two weeks. Whoever told you that is way off, if anything we might be a little overstaffed this winter. The last that I have heard is PSA will be doing all of the CLT 900 flying.
