Do guys on the CRJ tend to fly all over the network, or are they just confined to their base? For example, do IAD based crews ever end up in LAX on a trip?
If they're on IAD reserve they could inevitably end up doing it. That is if they are assigned the trip by crew tracking and the trip starts and ends with a deadhead to a PHX or CLT/DFW base.
Normally an IAD based line holder will only fly the 700 and will have no need to do anything with any other base unless they pick up Opentime the other bases. Or as in most cases bid out altogether.
